Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
An affirmation is a wish stated as if it is already true. Thinking, saying, or writing affirmations is an easy way to bring positive change into your life. Amazing results in life come when we change our habits. Our habits change when we have a change in attitude. Affirmations are a way we can change our attitudes.
Your current beliefs and habits have come about because of repeated thoughts. Many of these thoughts have been self limiting and destructive. The repetition of negative thoughts is discouraging and affects your motivation and confidence. It is hard to feel motivated when you are skeptical that you can get beneficial results. Replacing negative thoughts with affirmations, then, can help you change your attitudes and encourage you to believe in yourself and your good luck. As you adopt more positive attitudes and feel encouraged, your actions and habits will shift. When your actions and habits come into alignment with success, then success will come to you quickly.
Choose an area in your life where you would like to have change. Perhaps you would like to earn more money. You might choose for an affirmation, “I earn a lot of money.” This states it as if it has already happened. This is good. Or maybe you would like, “I get paid well for providing quality work.” Play with it until it feels right to you. Make your statements short and sweet, and always as if they have already come true.
You can also say it out loud. Repetition and passion are both very important with affirmations. You want to repeat it often enough that you have it memorized. This will be handy when situations come up that are critical to your achieving your dreams.
Passion is what helps your statement to feel real and comfortable to you. As it begins to feel natural, you make it easy for your affirmation to be true
Here are affirmations I use and want to share with you.
My body is the temple of my soul and looks after me perfectly
I am one with the universe and safe at all times
Perfect work for perfect pays is coming my way
I love the world and the world loves me
Abundance and success now comes to me in endless ways
I am balanced, joyful, happy and radiant.
The universe is an endless source which pours wealth upon me.
Spice it upSwelling, redness, heat, and pain are the four key signs of inflammation. A natural way to combat inflammation is by taking ginger. Ginger’s most active and aromatic chemical compounds are called gingerols. Ginger offers significant improvement in cases of arthritic inflammation and pain by inhibiting the body’s pro-inflammatory responses.

Mushrooms Found to be Top Food Source of Potent Antioxidant
L-ergothioneine, a powerful antioxidant, has been discovered in mushrooms, thanks to a new analytical method capable of identifying this antioxidant in plant material. In research presented at the 2005 American Chemical Society meeting in Washington, D.C., an American research team revealed that mushrooms contain higher concentrations L-ergothioneine than either of the two dietary sources previously believed to contain the most: chicken liver and wheat germ.
Testing mushrooms consumed in the U.S., the team found that shiitake, oyster, king oyster and maitake mushrooms contain the highest amounts of ergothioneine, with up to 13 mg in a 3-ounce serving. This equals forty times as much as is found in wheat germ.
Of the most commonly consumed mushrooms, portabellas and criminis have the most L-ergothioneine, followed by white buttons. White buttons, the most popular of all mushrooms consumed in the U.S., contain up to 5 mg per three ounce serving-12 times as much as wheat germ and 4 times more than chicken liver. And more good news, L-ergothioneine is not destroyed when mushrooms are cooked.
